Inside, the gallium iodide fill is what gives you that high-intensity punch. It lets the energy dive deeper into thick coatings or those stubborn, specialized resins that usually take forever to set. But there’s a catch: these things run hot. To keep the plasma stable, we use high-purity quartz. If the glass isn’t top-notch, it’ll cloud up way too soon. And a word of advice? Don’t cram a high-wattage lamp into a tiny housing without thinking about the air. If your cooling isn’t up to the task, the glass will stress out and the lamp’s lifespan will tank. Simple as that.
