Custom UV Lamp Modules That Actually Fit Your Machine
Let’s be honest: nobody wants to redesign their entire machine chassis just to get their ink to dry faster. It’s a nightmare. That’s why we build UV lamp modules for OEMs who need more power, but don’t have the time or budget to start from scratch. If you’re heading to the 2026 Printing Expo, you’ll see a lot of generic bulbs. We’re doing something different. We’re focusing on how a custom-built module actually lives and breathes inside a high-speed production line.
Getting the Power Right
It all comes down to a simple trade-off: wattage versus space. We look at how fast your conveyor is moving and match the lamp length and power to that speed. If you’re dealing with thick, stubborn, high-viscosity inks, you need a serious punch of irradiance. We tweak the electrode positions and the gas fill so the UV light hits every inch of the width evenly. Because there’s nothing worse than “cold spots”—those annoying patches where the ink stays tacky and ruins the whole run.
Dealing with the Heat
Here is the thing: high-wattage lamps get hot. Really hot. You can’t just shove more power into a tube and hope for the best. That’s a recipe for disaster. We use specific quartz glass to get the most UV-A or UV-C output possible while keeping the thermal load under control. Depending on your setup, we’ll build in forced-air cooling or liquid-cooled heat sinks. If your cooling isn’t built for a 1kW+ module, your lamp life will tank or your reflectors will warp. It’s just physics.
Built to Just… Work
We design these modules to be drop-in replacements. We standardize the mounting brackets and electrical connectors so they slide right into your existing frame. We also handle the ballast matching and wiring. That way, your engineers can spend their time on the big picture instead of chasing voltage drops in the middle of a factory floor. These things are built to take a beating in 24/7 environments. You get a module that fits your physical space and actually hits your curing targets. No guesswork. No headaches.
